  Good morning/afternoon my dear judges.I'm No.3 candidate.Today,my topic is《I’m Sam.》.

  I.Analysis of Teaching material

  The context is about the Daming and Lingling's frst school day,and they meet Sam and Amy.The two foreign children say hello to Daming and Lingling in English.They introduce themselves and say goodbye to each other after school.In this unit,the target vocabulary and statement are similar.If they can these vcabularies,the statement will be more easier.Because this is the first English class,we also want all students to perceive the feature of English pronunciation.

  【Justification】By studying this unit,students will enable to know how to greet with others politely.And It will also lay a foundation for the further English learning.

  II.Analysis of Students

  This is the first class for the third grade students to learn English formally,and this class is very important so that can have a deep impact on their lifelong learning.So we must help students have this lesson happily and try hard to lead them like English class,like learning English.【Justification】In order to let students participate in,explore and cooperative actively try to cultivate and develop their comprehensive language use ability,I'll pay attention to the diversity and interest about teaching design,creating lifelike situations.

  Ⅲ.Analysis of Teaching Aims

  the New Curriculum Standard for Primary points out that students are required to be curious about English and enjoy listening to others speaking English.What's more,they should do simple role play,sing simple English songs,say simple English ballads and do action and tasks according to teacher's simple instructions.They need communicate simple personal information,express emotions and feelings as well.

  ◆Knowledge aimsAll students can get the meaning of words like: hello,hi,and goodbye 100%students can master the sentence structure:Hello! I'm Sam./Hi! I'm Daming Students will know the main characters of this book: Sam,Amy,Lingling,Daming,and pay attention to the correct pronunciation of Sam and Amy.

  ◆Ability aim:Students are able to greet with their new partners or their friends in real situation by using the sentence pattern“I'm…”including correct pronunciation

  ◆Emotional aim

  Students are willing to greet with others and like making riends in their daily life politely Students'English learning interest could be fostered gradually.

  IV.Analysis of teaching key and difficult points

  Students can make full use of target language that we learned today to greet and say goodbye in daily life confidently.

  Be able to communicate with others and introduce themselves by using target words and sentences in this lesson.

  Ⅲ.Analysis of Teaching&Learning Methods

  According to the New Curriculum Standard,and after studying the teaching aims and the students,I mainly use Situational Teaching Approach,TPR and TBLT As to the study methods,students will adopt the Cooperative Learning and Independent Learning as well as the Inquiry-based Learning.

  【Justification】Through these ways to grasp the characteristics of students'love to say,play and love to imitate.Use incentive methods to cultivate students'abilities of observation,inquiry,imitation and application.

  V.Analysis of Teaching Procedures

  Step1 Warming-up

  To be successful in a class,we must be well prepared.Therefore,I'll greet with students,and introduce teacher's name.

  Step 2 lead-in

  An English song“Hello,Hello”will be played before class so that students can feel the atmosphere of English learning in advance.By the way,ask them about what the song talks to lead-in today's lesson“I'm Sam.”.

  Step 3 Pr-listening

  play a flash about kids'greeting,ask students what they hear in this flash to show today's new words about greeting and teaching them with different actions and expressions helping students get the meanings in this way.

  play a game“high and low voice”to lead students get familiar with these new words making a good foundation for next listening.

  Step 4 While-listening

  play the tape for first time and give students a task about what our friends doing to lead students listen to the tape thoroughly.

  play the tape for second time and let students listen carefully and tell teacher what kind of sentences our friends say for greeting,meanwhile,to present today's sentence patterns“Hello/Hi!I'm Lingling.”“Goodbye,Daming/Lingling.”

  play the tape for last time and lead students imitate their pronunciation and intonation.

  Step 5 Post-listening

  Invite two students to practice say hell/hi together with me,and then I'llgreet with them one bye one,at last,give them 3minutes to greet with their desk-mates to make a good preparation for situational conversation.

  Set a real situation“what will you greet with our new school-mates if we are going to have a school campus?”,and then give students 5mins to try to make a role-play,after this,I'll invite students to share their performance in front of class.

  Step 6 Summary and Homework

  Summary:lead Students summarize together with teacher to consolidate what we've learned today.

  Homework:Leave a small task of making cards for their new schoolmates as a gift.

  【Justification】The homework not only can improve students'abilities in drawing,but also can cultivate their awareness of making friends.
